Pupil Premium and PE Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.  Click here to open the government webpage for further information.

The PE Premium is additional funding to improve the provision of physical education and sport in primary schools and to encourage healthy lifestyles through the academic year. Click here to open the government webpage for further information.

At All Saints we are committed to enriching the educational experience of all children in our care.  We take great pride in the additional curriculum opportunities we offer our children including theatre groups, author visits, professional sports coaches and specialist groups such as our CREW Group .

Swimming

53% of pupils can swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 meters and use a range of strokes effectively.  

95% performed self-rescue in different water-based situations.  

1% can swim 20 metres.

14% can swim 15 metres. 

11% can swim 10 metres. 

8% can swim 0-5 metres.  

Pupil Premium funding is also used to give children additional experiences to boost their cultural capital, for example through visits to historical sites such as castles and theatre trips, as well as providing them with additional reading tutoring in small groups.
